Ronald Headlines McDonald’s Grand Opening
A large crowd was on hand to welcome McDonald’s, the world’s number 1 burger franchise to Frontier Village.
The headline act was none other than Ronald McDonald himself. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Frontier Village tenants, children of all ages, grown-ups and Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe officials.
The opening of McDonald’s makes Frontier Village the leader in dining offers with thirteen restaurants, the largest array of eateries in one location in the market.
The location, known as Pad A, was vacant for more than 20 years until McDonald’s approached the Tribe with the idea of developing new, state-of-the art store at the location. The restaurant is approximately 4,000 square feet and features a double-stack drive through.
Food, games and prizes were a part of the grand opening.
Couple Wins one of many 12 Days of Christmas Give-a-Way Prizes while taking a selfie in front of the Christmas Tree.
The wonder of Christmas was realized by Abel and Amanda, who were awarded with a Red Lobster gift certificate while taking pictures of the NEW 30-foot Frontier Village Christmas tree.
One of Santa’s little helpers, disguised as Amber Hudson, Marketing Manager for the Center, delivered the gift card to the young couple. Abel and Amanda were one of many who were recipients of the surprise gift cards.
It was all part of the Frontier Village 12 Days of Christmas celebration that included in-store give-a-way of gift cards and shopping prizes to the many holiday shoppers found in the Frontier Village stores, such as Home Depot, Ross, Target, Harbor Freight Tools, PetCo, Office Max, Planet Fitness, Nationwide Vision and many others.
Frontier Village tenants supported the effort and the Center’s owner, the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe sponsored the event.

Augie’s Prescott - A New Dining Experience
Augie’s has taken up residency in Frontier Village Center, next to the new McDonalds. The new restaurant concept is an extension of the popular Augie’s brand, recognized for many exceptional dining establishments. The brand is owned and operated by Mr. Augie Perry, a local resident with a very impressive restaurant portfolio. Living locally he has a vision to bring this city a new and exciting dining experience. Mr. Perry has planned to expand operations into Prescott for some time now, seeking the ideal space for his new restaurant concept. A perfect location presented itself when a prime space in Frontier Village became available for lease.
“Augie’s Grille provides an innovative dining experience, reflective of the Prescott area.” Mr. Augie Perry said.
The grille has lunch and dinner service, in a casual dining atmosphere with space for live entertainment and dancing. The menu includes Augie’s signature dishes, like his famous Grilled Artichoke and a new twist on a traditional native dish, Yavapai Fry Bread. The Prescott location also has a full service bar and lounge, serving up the Specialty Martinis that are popular at every Augie’s restaurant.
